Transferable Peer Review

In an effort to support authors in publishing their work, and to ensure the efforts of Editors and Reviewers are made full use of, Drug Development Research collaborates with other relevant journals published by Wiley, including:

Authors of manuscripts that are not accepted for publication in one of the “supporter journals” listed above for reasons related to scope, page constraints, etc. may be offered the option to transfer their submission to Drug Development Research. As the peer-review reports also travel with the manuscript when transferred, assuming appropriate revision and response to the reviewers’ comments, the revised submission may be accepted without the need for further peer review.

Authors of manuscripts not considered suitable for peer review by the supporter journal may also be offered the option of transferring their submission to Drug Development Research. In this case, authors are saved the trouble of manually submitting their manuscript and completing the submission questionnaire - instead, they need only check the details and answer any questions unique to Drug Development Research. Once completed, the submission undergoes peer evaluation at Drug Development Research to determine its suitability for publication in the journal.
